Assistants on the Mac
Bunplan for Mac works with AI apps that support MCP, like Claude, Claude Code and Codex. Ask in your own words, and the assistant can do in Bunplan what you'd do by hand, from planning a whole project to starting the timer. With iCloud sync on, the changes reach your iPhone and iPad.
What you can ask
Anything you can do to your plan, you can ask an assistant to do. For example:
Plan my statistics final over the next three weeks.
Split the product launch into phases, with a few steps for each task.
Move everything I didn't finish to tomorrow.
How much did I focus on my portfolio this week?
Bunplan tells assistants how it works and how to plan well: look at your week first, ask about your deadline and the days you can work, and tell you what they changed. Four ready-made prompts come with it: Plan a project, Plan my day, Weekly review and Catch up.
How it stays safe
On your Mac
Assistants connect to Bunplan locally. Bunplan itself sends nothing anywhere. The AI app you use may send what it reads to its model provider, under that app's own privacy terms.
Off until you choose
In Settings → Assistants, choose Read only to let assistants look, or Read & write to let them make changes. Off blocks every request.
Part of Plus
Assistants come with Bunplan Plus. If Plus ends, access stops right away.
Every change is listed
Each change appears under Assistant activity in Settings → Assistants, with Undo, and Undo all puts back everything from one conversation. Anything you've edited since stays as it is. Timer actions can't be undone; correct or delete the record instead.
Some things are off limits
An assistant can't change its own access, turn iCloud sync on or off, buy or manage Plus, erase your data, import a backup or export files.
Set up in a minute
Choose the access
In Bunplan on your Mac, open Settings → Assistants and choose Read only or Read & write.
Add Bunplan to your assistant
For Claude Desktop, click Add to Claude Desktop and confirm. For Claude Code or Codex, Settings shows one command to copy and run in Terminal. For other MCP apps, click Copy setup for other apps.
Ask
Start a new conversation and ask about your plan.
The Bunplan docs walk through each app step by step, list every tool an assistant can use, and help if it can't connect.
